In time my friend... all in good time. I was looking at it today, doesnt look like it'll be too bad... LOTS of taping sh*t off... but I think it shouldnt be too big a deal. You know where the walkthrough is for that? I think I saw one before...not sure which forum.
There is a slim chance I can do it next weekend... time will tell.

haha thanks, almost didnt click it... just thought you had written "BAM!" for the fun... cause writing that kind of stuff is a blast -- I do it all the time!

But yeah, hopefully swift can get pics of it on his car... i'm torn as to whether I want to clear it or not. I think I would...

Actually, I'm sportin the "ebony pearl effect"
lol, but yeah, i think its volcano renamed. It has grown on me since owning it, though i'm a bigger fan of flat black... i've always liked charcoal cars, and gray cars... so this isnt so bad. But yeah, I'm sure I'll be clearing it. Wasnt planning on painting the fins... they would be easy enough to tape off... who knows though, his grill looked good. I'd just worry about runs in the clear.

Do our rings come off? I dont want to paint my rings, so it'd be easiest to take them off, spray bomb the thing, then put them back on -- if that's an option.

I'm gonna loose the quattro badge up front as well... so my car will be identifiable soley by the 4 rings, front and rear. I have a dream!

haha, sorry about lifting your line -- i didnt know!

So you wouldnt paint the fins eh? My original plan was to not... so I might just stay with that. If I want to paint the rest later, it'd be easy enough to do... just tape off what i've already painted, then prime/base the fins... then re-clear the whole thing. But yes, please let me know if the rings come off... just so I know if its an option, if i ever cross that bridge.
