Default Debadging 1999 A4

I just wanted to ask how the badges are on there? Glued or with screws or anything? Thanks... im just trying to toake of the A4 and 1.8T

a heat gun and fishing line. floss is worthless...get some strong fishing line and it'll take you 3 minutes for each side....to remove the glue residue use GOO GONE (it's citrus-based and won't damage your paint)



DO NOT USE GOOF OFF!!!! it will damage your paint bad...

wd-40 and lighter fluid will probably both dull your clear coat...audiboy, what color car do you have?

if you have a black car i wouldn't use anything but goo gone....

lighter fluid worked great for mine and i have a gunmetal metalic paint, no damage done. I recomend giving the tailgate a light buff right after to reduce the fade from the sun not hitting the paint under the badges.

i would think that lighter fluid wouldn't be good for the paint. but apparently i'm wrong......

after i used goo gone i used this stuff by meguires (can't remember the spelling) cleat coat. then i waxed the area. can't see a thing.

I used a belt sander worked awsome
