Default Debadging Help!! UPDATED!!

I just debadged the back of my A4 but when i took all the emblems off i could still see the outline of every emblem. It's not the adhesive, it's as if the emblems were put on and a clear coat was painted over them. It's wierd and i'm just mad at the fact of how it looks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Below is an image of the A4 emblems and the mark left behind.

dont use a drill, thats a good way to burn through your paint..

just go to the local parts store and pick up some cutting or buffing compound, and use a rag and lots of elbow grease, it should come off

i always use a drill cuz im too daym cheap to buy a real buffer machine and i hate moving around like that lol. im a lazy bastard sry haha. just move the drill around, don't stay in one spot for more than 8 sec. one time i buffed out a scratch that was almost to the primer layer lol. and yes im a crazy bastard who takes chances lol

What about if use one of those plastic razor blades. They say that it won't scratch the paint and maybe it'll get the outlining off. Thanks for all your ideas and help.

that wont do anything, if your trunk has indeed been resprayed with clear with the emblems on.. then compound/buffing or even wet sanding is the only thing to get it off.. most likely is just a dirt and reidue build up around the badges, which should polish off

its very difficult to get perfect on a dark car, and even at the right angle you can still see where mine were, (more then a year and probably 3-4 buffs later)
