Default Debadging problems

This weekend I attempted to debadge my a4. I followed the tutorial, used a heat gun, goo gone and auto cloths and it worked well at first. I got to a point when the adhesive spaces for the A and Quattro badges wouldn't come off. It feels as though the glue is attached to the paint and won't come off withouth chipping it severely. Has anybody else experienced this? If so how can you get it off it looks the same as the adhesive under the other badges it's just rock solid and barely budges with goo gone. I'll try to take a picture if I get a chance thanks for the help.

yes i got all the emblems off with the fishing line no problem, it's the adhesive on the backside of them that's stuck on there

Keep using the heat gun, but dont hold it too close and for too long on the paint. Keep using the goo gone too and just keep rubbing. Itll eventually come off. There comes a point when using your finger nail gets the little bits that are left.

before you heat the thing too much, go buy one of those big pink erasers, and use that to rub the adhesive off, thats what i did on my previous cars.

I just debadge my freinds jetta and its a bitch but you just got to keep rubbing. I just use my finger and rub really really hard and then the friction from your finger will make it come off. Its just alot of work. good luck!
P.S post pics when you are done!!
