i believe they also modify the GT28RS kit with a smaller exaust side for faster spool with a slight decrease in top end

the only thing they do is change the wastegate position so it fits on their manifold. Everyone uses the .64 t25 housing. Anything more than that isnt an ideal match. Sure you can run a .86 on it, but the slight increase in power isnt worth it to most. However if you wanted the power more towards redline you would.

They also use the gt28r style compressor cover on all of there turbos so they can use the same parts throughout.

OOO, will i eventually be able to put a bigger turbo on their manifold should i feel the need? AND, what size injectors do they use?

If the need arises you can install a gt2871r w/o changing anything. If its the same as the other kits, 380cc.

Just read elsewhere that the stg3 kit is 380cc from the 225TTand the stg3+ uses 515cc or 550cc depending on when you got the kit. 550cc would work much better.

i thought you want a min. of 630 cc for a gt28rs.

most RS files have been writen for 440cc. The APR stg3 kit uses 380cc from the 225TT due to the spray pattern
