decisions......decisions.....
i went my college yesterday and got my financialaid paperwork taken car of. my classes cost around 1400 and financial aid is giving me 3000 dollars. which means i have 1600 left over and i would like to put that money in my a4. i am undecided on what todo.
Looks before speed. After you put some new springs and shocks on her, you should still have some $$ left over to start saving again for the k04. Are you talking about the stasis torq converter? and what would be the big gain in upgrading it?
Dont be STOOOOOOPID!
Put the 1600 in the bank, and use it to pay for next quarter. That, or tell financial aid you only want 1500 instead of 3k. You'll be paying for that **** for a long time.
I know its tempting, but use your head, if you had plenty of money, you wouldnt be borrowing any. Use the money for its intended purpose.......school. School costs enough without blowing thousands extra on your car.
When you graduate, then dump money into your ride.

Spend it or put it all in long-term savings(like IRA or 401k type of program) - your never going to get cheaper $$ considering the interest rate, so I don't see a big problem in getting more out now. If I could go back to college I would pull every extra penny that I could and start saving. You can make more $$ off the instest than your paying for it.

Spend it or save it?
Above you said to not take the extra at all, I say take the extra cause its an extra cheap loan. the two options are spend it or save it, either way MO MONEY MO MONEY MO MONEY
Ok, basic finances.....
Take the money, must pay it back withinterest.
Dont take the money, owe no interest on it.
So, if he takes it, and spends it, he must pay it back with interest. Definitely gonna cost more than not taking the money.
