I have an 2016 Audi A4 with 95000 miles that consumes 1 liter of oil every 800 miles and was shocked to find out this is a common problem due to the low friction piston rings that Audi uses. Through my research, I discovered that Audi has been addressing their high oil consumption issue in earlier years with a recall and most recently with the Warranty Policies and Procedures Bulletin AWA-24-01 which falls way short of addressing all of the problem vehicles. I took my car to the Audi dealer where they confirmed my consumption and provided me with a quote for $9916.79. After contacting Audi Customer Care, I was denied any type of assistance with this obvious factory defect and am livid. This is not the performance or the customer support that I would expect out of Audi, but have learned my lesson and will not be dealing with them in the future.
