Default DESPERATE FLYWHEEL QUESTION

i need a new flywheel now, or i need to have a machine shop cut mine. this has to be done last week. you can see my problem. any suggestions on a cheaper price(not cheaper quality) single mass flywheel? im dying here.

Ok so go to your local machine shop and have them machine it for you what is the problem

thanks but i just solved it. my tuner called me back and he had one in his shop jus chillin. $479 single mass lightweight.

they wouldnt machine it cuz it has a rubber molding and the stones theyuse to cut it are to wide. but thats all water under the bridge now

You know what i was told about the sti that if you goto a lightweight flywheel cylinder 3 missfires something about the orginomics of the engine and how the flywheel turn. So if you go with a lightweight flywheel you have to get a new intake manifold and all this other BS stuff to fix the misfire. How bad does that suck! lol useless information i know im bored.

no misfires but you will get a chattering problem from LWFW's

light wiehgt is not worth it. Ive heard audis chatter really bad. Dont sacrifice the drivability.

Think of Centrifigual Kinetick Force. Audi has a lot of loss in tranny, so need all stability you can get.
