did this diy today and im not getting no reverse lights when i pop her in reverse. im getting white turn signals which should obviously be the reverse. can anyone tell me which wires to switch back before i mess up the harness. any help appreciated, thanks

 

Did you follow all the directions?

 

well you have pictures in the DIY - change everything back - what year is your car so that someone can get you a wiring diagram

 

that seems pretty self explanitory i dont know how it could be messed up haha...but anyway, are the wires you switched the same colors as the ones in the pictures? because im going to guess that its more importent to follow the wire colors than it is to just switch '1 & 3'

 

yes i followed the directions. before i switched them the lights wouldnt even turn on, no signal, no reverse, nothing. so if iswitch them back im guessing im not going to get any lights again.yeah i checked the numbers and the colors before i switched them. it seems pretty impossible tomess upso idk. please help guys.i have a 97.

dang i dont know man when i did that DIY on my 96 everything worked out perfect. Just make sure you switch those two wires around or else that would cause white turn signals! You dont plug the wires back into the same spot you took them out of, just makin sure you know that. Good luck and the only thing i could think of that your doing wrong is not switching spots with those two wires.
