Just purchased a 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro Avant from local dealer in MN. 93,400 miles, cold weather package, all options (from what I can tell). Body is imacculate, as is the interior. Casablanca white, black leather. Premium sound w/6-disk changer. Paid $7900. Kelly Blue Book has me beating their figures. Wondering if anyone out there agrees, having more real world experience in these things. I think I got a great deal and would like more ammunition to throw at my dad, who suggested I get a Ford or a Chevy. Forgive him, he is old.

 

I wouldnt say you got a great deal but you did ok. Much better car for the money then what he was recommending.

 

Pretty good deal. Not a steal though.. But you certainly didnt get raped. Although you could have gotten a cherry 2004 Chevy Cavalier or Ford Focus with 50k miles for the same price. But how much fun would that be?! And how cool can someone possibly look sporting either one of those **** boxes!??!? **** Ford and Chevy all to hell!!!!!![:@]
