Did my turbo just die?

I would say remove the front bumper to get a good view of the piping from turbo to IC to intake. I'm not sure of an other way..that's easier than this atleast.

what is the best way to check that hose? get it on stands and check from the bottom? or can it be checked from under the hood?

Well I called the Audi dealer after leaving it with them for over six hours and not hearing back. Turns out the check engine light came on right as I was pulling up, and the code said three different cylinders were misfiring. The guy cleared the error, and drove it around all day and he can't get another check engine light to come on, although he can feel the engine misfiring. So they have to keep it overnight to figure out what the hell is going on. I don't know why I thought it was the turbo yesterday, but as soon as I started driving it today I figured it was a spark plug. Since the code said it was three different cylinders having a problem, it doesn't sound like it’s related to a spark plug, though. Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be?
hmmm my 2 cents goes to a maf sensor......I had the same crap go with my car....when it would idle it would jump rpms and loose power and it staled a couple times....
Im guessing MAF too. If its going bad, it can cause you to run rich which will cause missfires and bucking. If it turns out to be the maf, make sure you replace your spark plugs too cuz theyve probably gone through some hell in the process of the dying maf. Ive read a few times where peoples maf's have gone bad, and when they get it fixed, their car still doesnt feel like it used to, and thats probably because their plugs got so carbonized in the process of running rich from the bad maf that its not getting the best spark anymore, which can lead to fuel not getting fully combusted, which leads to bad mpg, and early 02 sensor and cat failure blah blah blah..... But then again, it may not even be your maf?!?!?
I got my car back after the dealer having it for four days saying they couldn't replicate the problem. A week later, guess what it's doing? This time the battery light came on while it was bucking and then it completely stalled. What the hell should I tell these clowns to do, as its apparent they won't do anything on their own?
Edit-The next day I called the dealer and a small audi/vw repair shop and they both said they need the check engine light on, so to just drive it around more until the computer spits out an error. When I tried driving my car around, it ran perfectly! I drove it about 12 miles without a problem. I'm afraid to take it on the freeway to work (30 miles one way) as I don't want to be stranded somewhere, yet if I don't drive it around no one can help me. [:@]
