During my first start of the day, whether 8AM or 2PM the car starts fine but as soon as I switch into Drive the car will die or sputter forward. Today I even got the gas pedal all the way to the floor and it just eaked forward rolling on its own. Then I let go of the gas and finally it started. Got the battery tested and it checked out ok. Any ideas? I'd hate a transmission problem.

 

Sounds like the lockup torque converter is stuck locked on.
