the tiptronic transmission is an automatic with manual-override shift controls, the multitronic is the CVT

 

so it appears that the multitronic cannot handle as much as a tip?

i dont kno about u guys, but to me, having the shift paddles on the steering wheel is kinda stupid, cuz u dont have acess to them while your going through a corner... your busy steering the car

i think it would be hard to like reach your hand all the way around the stering wheel to be able to shift... kinda pointless in my eyes

 

its totally awesome. for example, when on cell phone, you can still shift. when cornering you can still use the hand shifter

 

i never use the buttons on the steering wheel

 

well i'm always pimpin and am on the phone a lot. So it's a great back up tool.
