difference in gas mileage
I am wondering why do I get a differrence of about 2-3MPG between my computer MPG and the real MPG that I can measure by filling up the tank and dividing the number of miles driven by the amount of gas purchased? My calculated mileage is always lower by 2 or 3mpg. Did anyone notice that ? I have an 2005.5 A4 2.0TFSI FWD 6 speed and get about 26.5MPG average or 32mpg highway.

RE: difference in gas mileage
Were you publicly Schooled?
If so that is likely the reason for the discrepancy.
I've noticed the same thing. IMHO you looking at the average of your tank over a give period of time. (usually 2 hours) Not over the whole tank. When you factor that in you'll likely see it is closer to your Pubicly Screwled Learnin Numerals.

RE: difference in gas mileage
Can they just reset the calculation?
I looked at mine on the way home from work... jumping onto the highway, then off. I noticed it would almost flutter, just go back and forth between two numbers. Those of you in Canada, I was getting from 8.8L/100k to 10.2L/100k. Maybe its all messed up. Any thoughts?
