if you got the scratch for bt, go for it

300-300+ probably isnt nessecary for satasfactory track performance, and daily driving

and your gonna need something else to drive with the bt downtime thats expected

you could go elim, and probably still be dd and have close to 300

this is what i would do..

i know a guy that runs a really reliable 71r elim pushing 300Awhp 340+Awtq at around 24 psi.. but during his daily driving he runs 12 psi(EBC) and is still faster than 99% of the ko4 setups that i have seen, he proved it with a CAPS time

you still have the GT25R which is the ATP GT2X which they say sucks
BaconBait had it and as u can see moved on

i think the GT25R would be a good turbo, its not to big and will give good low/mid end power which i like
i think that turbo has alot of track potential if it had good programming

Dj Spiel- I would go right into a pc-16/ko4 setup. They are downright deadly in the streets, like will be with bts because of the torque. See what most people dont realize is, a good tuned ko4/setup puts out more torque then a bt.

Here's what you do, call up Awe during there sale, get yourself a ko4 kit(1299), and get the pc16 file. Now get yourself a good fmic(evo is amazing, i loved it), you need it for pc16. Get a good exhaust/test pipe. Borla is great and cheap. Then call up Andy at southbend and get there stage 4 ss clutch. Its street and track friendly. Trust me, i got there stage 3 on my A4 and the torque from the ko4 overpowerd it.(my driving may have played a small role in that, not the best break in, haha) Then, get yourself some nice light weight wheels with any cash you have left over, i mean like 15pd light. The reason for this is because the ko4 is not a hp turbo, its all torque. The ko4 will get you off the line, but the hp is what carries you after you get rolling(lamens terms). The light weight wheels helps you out where the ko4 isnt the best, and lets you hang with higher hp cars at higher speeds. Then, if you still have any cash and want to mod, put it on a diet, light weight bat( i have a ody pc680, weighs 15pd), and a carbon fiber hood. You can add little things along with the way, those are the bigs ones.

But seriosly dude, unless your ready for alot of headaches, like alot of them, don't go bt. I was tinkering with my car 24/7 with my stage 3 kit. The ko4/pc16 is great for track/dd/reliabilty, and you will be downright deadly around town. Hope that helps.
