Default Diffrence between (97ish) and 200(ish)??

So what is the chasis difference between the mid to late 90's audi a4's and the new(er) ones.? It seems that the newer ones have larger wheel wells and that they sit a little lower. Is this true ?

Example:

2003: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/397052

1997: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6003

If I am correct ( forgive the n00b-ness), then could you give the 97(ish) a newer/lower look ?

thanks

Vito

You're talking about the B5 vs the B6 lines.

There were a lot of changes overall, but the suspension heights are dependent on what suspension options were ordered with each specific car. The B5 can be lowered and, in my opinion, looks better than a lowered B6.

No worries bro.

Those are all lowered B5 A4's. The race cars are severely lowered.

There is only one kit: The RS4 wide body kit from Germany. It is has an outrageous price tag.

You're better off clipping the wheel well liner and having the fenders rolled. Many heavy duty Audi owners who do radical mods have done this with great success. It's not as severe as it sounds - in fact it's easier overall than to have the widebody kit installed.
