I have a 1999 2.8Q. The info center display in the center of the instrument cluster has gone dark. A real drag for using the TIP. It is a common problem I knew about before I purchased this car. The dealer says the ENTIRE instrument cluster needs to be replaced. Is that right? If so, can the dealer set the odometer to the current mileage? Dealer says instrument cluster is about $450, labor addtional.
