Default disc brake corrosion

Last november or so I put on some new Zimmerman crossed drilled rotors and they looked great. Well my car was garaged for 6-7 months during the winter semester while I was away at school (roommated had his car up there for transpo) and now my rotors are very corroted. The corrosion on the faces wore off fine from general braking but the edges and the drilled holes look like CRAP!

I'm just wondering if there's something I can soak my rotors in to get rid of the corrosion and make em look all brand new n pretty again.

thanks

ps. pics of my ride w/ my new shoes (18" Flik Artics, gloss black) comin soon

Default RE: disc brake corrosion

Thats just how it goes. You could clean/polish the outter area where you are talking about, but it will just happen again in a month or 2.
