Default diverter valve

So I been looking at some engine mods I want done to my Audi its an 01 s-line a4. I was looking at the apr diverter valve because i want the swhhh sound when im shifting. If i get the diverter valve would it be a good idea to get a cold air intake as well so its a louder sound when im shifting or will i be alright with just the valve?

I have no idea why so many people are concerned with their car making a "swoosh" sound as oppose to it actually running good, I see this question asked way too many times, if you search around you will find your answer..

I got a APR R1 diverter valve in my 01 a4 and it sounds nice. Don't bother with getting a cold air intake. Audi makes a superb intake already so keep the money and spend money into other engine mods or even get a chip for it.

It will run properly with a stock engine. It will just be able to hold more boost and recirculate the air faster than your stock DV would. I also recommend getting a chip. Best of luck to you
