Default Diverter valve

I was wondering how I determine which diverter valve that I need for my 2003 A4 1.8T. And also are there much gains when changing this valve? I was looking at the forge brand, the correct one to buy is what I'm after. Thanks for youre help

No gains, it simply can hold higher levels of boost. No need to buy one unless you are going to chip your car. And if thats all you are going to do, all you need to get is the 710N DV from the Audi TT. $35.

I will be doing the APR ECU upgrade, probably in the next several months. Which one will do the job best for this application?

i got the forge 007 dv and it works great and you are able to rebuild it if you need to and the other thing that i like is someday when you get one of the big kid turbo kits you just change the spring to hold different boost levels

I have the forge. With the forge you have the ability to change your boost levels. They have springs inside which you can swap out.
