where did you relocate the maf to?
The pressure side, after the BOV. But the mitsu maf seems to be alot more more forgiving than a vw/audi maf.

Your gonna need to let the car adapt to the valve that vents to atomosphere.
I think a log from the car on its maiden voyage with the valve and a follow-up several days later would be a good way to go about it.
Then i should let the car adapt back to the stock vavle, otherwise my results would be useless to 99.9998% or the users here and on other forums.
Good call. Lets keep it scientific and try to be as methodical as possible.

how did you move it to the pressure side. my maf had enough trouble reading the incoming i doubt it would have kept up with the pressurized side. i burned out 9 mafs

We are talking about the Mitsu's right? My lancer's maf work well on the presure side, i wouldnt ever think about running a vw/audi maf on the pressure side (a handful ran it, for year+ before i left the mitsu world). Just remember 6psi from a gt28r is far lesscfm and pressure than a 16g.

ive found only 1 BOV to work and not cause any trouble with my 1.8T motor on my A4, and thats the HKS SSQV bov. so far everyone here has tried tellin me that itll mess up my engine make the engine not last as long and so on. it doesnt leak, the bov is designed so its impossible to leak under any boost pressure, its not spring loaded so the springs dont wear out or u hafto try n try again till the spring u try works. My SSQV works, has been working for as long as ive been using it, not 1 problem yet, and im pleased with it, ive gotten it from an Audi/VW shop, one of the best in thw world, and thats all they recommend for the 1.8T engines, given even some 1.8's might not except this BOV, but thats far and few theyve found
