Default DIY Drive Train Stabilizer

Is it just me or does $350 for AWE's DTS seem ridiculous? It can't possibly be that hard to make. Cut it out of a piece of aluminum stock and make a rubber bushing. The bolt locations are already there so just drill holes in the aluminum to match. The only differences that I can think of would be AWE's would look better (for all the glances people take of your undercarriage) and theirs is made of Aircraft aluminum. Anyway, what do ya'll think?

Haha, yeah, not for the faint of heart, that metal whittlin'.

I would like to see how this guy makes out though... cheap drivetrain stabalizers all around! hurrah!!!

I actually do know a guy at my school, who gets to make all kinds of sh*t on the CNC, for marks... I think i should call in a favour.
