Default diy headlights?

My friend has a 2004 rsx typeS and he broke the seal on his headlights and painted them black...no leaks and they look great(like after market but only for 20 bucks for the paint). Has anybody tried this on the one piece b5? thanks

PS whats a good 1/8 mile time with a chipped 99.5 a4 5speed quattro?

I've been wondering the same thing about headlights. I'm sure it can be done, but what can you paint and what do you need to leave alone. Some of the material inside the headlight is reflective to produce more light and I know you wouldn't want to paint that. Overall, I think it'd probably be to risky. If I ever have the money for ecodes, i may try this and if I screw it up, oh well just buy the ecodes.

I would imagine a really high 9 would be a good time for a chipped '99.5TQM. That may be wishful thinking though. I guess it all depends on the track conditions and the driver.
