Sooo there really is no need too post this up here cuz all u will think that its the dumbest thing ever but i recently cracked my oil pan bad gettin like 2 or soo feet of air it was a dumb move thought maybe audi was tough engouh too handle it but im pissed my 98 audi a4 2.8 didnt even have a oil pan protector is that just a 98 thing cuz i know my friends 99 has one. But yea just a stupid post too biker about

 

That must be the skidplate right? I believe on all b5's its plastic and the only thing its good for is to keep dirt and other crap out of the underbody, no protection for your dukes of hazzard stunts lol

 

no they dont, the plastic cover under the engine is a sound blocker or oil drip tray as some call it but definitely not an oil pan protector you have to go to off road rally cars for that

 

mines fiberglass. and its just a splashguard.

plus 2 ft of air, what is this the fast and the furious? seriously 2 ft is a lot especially in a heavy audi. im surprised the only damage is the oil pan.
