i was looking around at the local auto shop and was seeing all these different brands of injector and pisont cleaners and such to help idle and just general cleanings. do they really work ? i mean for 5 bucks i'm going to try one, i just cant decide which one. but has anyone had good sucess and from which brands? thanks

 

search the forums for all kinds of good recommendations. some work well, others are garbage. gumout regane got me about 50 miles per tank after two treatments.

 

i have read in AF about the gumout regane.
also u could try lucas products.

 

alright ... i'll try that gumout ... i think i saw it at a local store for like 1.50 or somthin .. that seems awful cheap compared to like the valvoline brands that are 6 bucks a bottle ... does that mean much ?

 

gumout is a company that makes a lot of additives and other chemicals. you want regane, it will be quite a bit more than 1.50
