Yeah,,,,for my year '03 they recalled for the fuel pump and now that blame my blah days on that and want me to replace my fuel filter every time I go in (needed approx every 20K miles).
Recently have had a slew of problems:
Rack and Pin (although the noise and shimmy are back)
A coil problem (read online that audi refuses to recall that problem)

and of course b/c I 'm a girl I noticed the interior dash by the CD is chipping.
I take care of my audi better then I do myself with check-ups and maintance. repairs but I swear I think I got a DUD from Germany.
=)

I'm not feeling ya.
I have had a few things to repair, but no more than any other car with 90k would need done. On a day to day basis, the car is very solid, and reliable. Amazingly reliable in fact, for having a lot of non-stock components in the mix.
Anyway, I hope your audi smoothes out for ya.
Same here the largest thing was timing belt water pump and tensioner (and that NEEDED to be done) other than that its all little maintenance things here and there. Mostly bad vac lines now that I am boosting more.

The ooutiside air temp is gonna have a lot to do with it. Your car will be much faster late at night becasue the air is nice and cool. Here is AZ nothing is better than driving at night during winter with a nice brisk 75 degree air intake temp. VROOM VROOM psshhhh (I have anintake) haha
