okay,
i just bought a very nice 2001 Audi A4. low miles, low price. Seems like everyone I've talked to had a negative vibe about it? not sure why? I'm not a car afficianado and all I'm going to do is drive the darn thing. seems like most of them have more questions/concerns about the car than ALL of the research I did.

what's the deal? it kind of pisses me off! are they just German car haters or are they jealous? I never have cared what I drive, what it looks like or who I impress. I just wanted a cool car for once, AWD and some nice creature features. I paid cash and between both our family cars, the total cash value of both combined is likely equal to one of most families cars.

i suppose the conservative crowd I run with and am related to just doesn't approve!

any insight audi community?

Anyone else get those kinds of vibes from others?
