Default Dont wanna get jipped!

Hi I'm interested in buying a 2002 Audi A4 Quattro from a guy off of Craigslist. I would love some help and insight on whether or not this is a good deal or a total rip off. $5000. Heres some info.. 130,000 miles, clean title, automatic with tiptronic shifting, RC Bosch injectors, coils, and spark plugs, new slotted rotors and brake pads in front and rear, aftermarket rims, window tint, etc. I'm just skeptical about buying a used car at 130,000. He said the CEL just came on but it still runs great. I would like to have him take it to autozone and atleast see whats wrong with it. But he doesnt have the money to put into it if its something major. What should i do? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You must be used to owning American cars, because 130k on the clock is nothing. I would ask the owner to produce maintenance records, specifically timing belt/water pump.
As for the CEL, it is probably something basic. VW/Audi throw CEL's if your farts smell bad, but is usually something emissions related and no big deal.

I would still take it to a local shop and have them do an inspection to check for the things you can't see underneath

I would double check the last time the timing belt was changed, as well as the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
