Try tightening the door to frame bolts.....mine were loose, i had a water leak, and wind noice, mechanic at dealer sais the door frame was bent and neededreplacingbut after I tightened the bolts, the wind and water leak stopped....imagine that huh?

ya i just fixed my door.

you have to screw down the bolts that hold the door to the frame. they are on the frame. that little hinge thingy. and if they are already tight, then look at the little notches next to the hinge and line the hinge up the best you can.

I had the same on my 96 A4. Cause was the door being whipped out of my wife's hand by the wind, putting a slight twist in the hinges.Adjustment improved it, but I neverdid get it perfectly wind tight after this.
