Alright so i searched, i couldnt find anything like this... now maby im missing something huge here but im about to buy exhaust from AWE and iv been looking around everywhere else... why do none of the setups come included with a downpipe for the automatic 1.8TQ?... something becuase of the trans im guessing? i could be wrong... but am i loosing anything major without the included downpipe or is the stock one legit if i put in a testpipe, and will the testpipe be compatable with the stock downpipe? i have no idea, thanks

 

I think stock is ok with a test pipe, or gutted cat

 

minus the fact that its got so many crush bent parts to it.....i say get a new one. tantrumwerks sells one, idk it it would work w/ auto. man's stuck between a rock and a hard place.

EDIT: does tantrumwerks only make downpipes for the s4?

 

The test pipe will bolt up no problem to the stock downpipe

 

so im gona lose some flow from the stock pipe right?

 

Firs tof all it depends which test pipe you get. not all will bolt up to a stock downpipe. Second of all, upgrade the downpipe, thats more important the anything after it
