Yes, the K04 is a bolt up for the K03, and vise versa. The only things you need are new gaskets. How's the rebuild going?

Man you sound like you are moving fast.

How about a few photos of the rebuild process?

I havent even started to rebuild. Im just now spredding every thing out. I got the head yesterday for $400, and ordered a KO4 unit (turbo only) and the corresponding giac chip. I wont be buying anything for a while b/c the Audi fund is looking low. But i need to get the car up and running. Yester day I started to deburr the cylinder head and im going to have it washed tomorrow. I still have my KO3 exhaust manifold so im going to have that ported and polished, (if my dad's friend is willing to help me.) Meanwhile m doing burnouts in the ford focus rental car.
