(2000 audi a4 1.8T) how the hell do u get in there to get all of the bolts off? i pulled out the intake box, then got the 3 bolts near the turbo off but if stuck on the bolts atthe bottom! i tried a a extended socket with a swivle, i tried heating it up, i tried wratchets, wrenches with wratchets, please help me...........

 

Have you tried getting at it from under the car...I believe that is how I got mine.

 

If your just having trouble getting to the bolts try removing the exhaust from the hanger a little bit after the cat, the bolt with the little spring in it. it gives you same extra play in it to move stuff around.

 

ok, whatdid u use to get it off? a socket n wrench? n if i mover that sping (hanger) i'll have enogh room 2 get my hands in there cuz right noe i have none?

 

Yeah, I have a 3 inch custom now and I forgot about the spring bolt, take that off and you should have more room. Also, you will need about 2ft of extensions to make it easy.

 

ok, i have been trying with the extentions, so hopefully i canget 2 it when i do that spring trick, thatnk 4 the help, ill write u back 2marrow n let u kno the progress....

 

hey i finally got it all hooked up, i couldnt get that last bolt off, but i took the spring off n i had alot more room, then i grinded the last bolt off, then just stuck a screw driver in between thw pipes and bent that **** until it broke the bolt, but i broke the gasket, thats the only problem, i hooked it up 4 now but i gatta put the gasket on, but thnx 4 all of the help ......
