Default Downpipe, Yay or nay

Ok, I am more then likely going to get the techtonics tuning exhaust or the milltek exhaust.

But I have a Tip and none of them come with downpipes

So, do I really need a dp? Is it worth it?

If so, any sugestions?
I finally decided that I am not going to get a new turbo and i am only going to get my boost leaks fixed, Tip fixed, tip chip and exhaust. 17 + no job = no money to spend

the downpipe is like 8 inches its just a flex pipe and a small length of tubeing.. have someone make you one when you do the cat-back..

might as well go turbo back. get rid of the cat or get a hfc or atleast move it down

but a dp is not a mandatory upgrade is it?

i mean i could survive with my stock dp and a new exhaust.

plus i live in cali so i think emissions is a problem
