downsides to a chip
wait, I'm in colo and I am unaware of any 93 octane spots... i thought there was a 91 setting. (bandimere sells 100, but I don't feel like going to the track every time I fill up...)
yeah, i guess that is always an option. i think it's just best to get ecms programming and set it up for 91, i'm pretty sure that's possible.
of course, it would be BEST best if schraders sold 100 octane

I think everyone needs to realize that will happen with any car, chipped or not chipped, modified or stock. Open the throttle more=more fuel consumption in a civic or a ferrari.

I get way better hwygas mileage and also better city mpg if i drive conservatively.. But once the hammer goes down far enough, so does the mpg.

I think everyone realized that before this thread was even created.I was pointing out that a chip will optimize fuel maping and timing and it provides better economy than the stock ecu tunefor when you are light footed, and obviously the opposite with a heavy foot due to the more agressive tune.
Yeah yeah, well we have a lot of people on here who arent quite in the know, Mr. Dickface. [8D]
