I noticed the same line on my car this week. Asked about it on AZ, they say it's normal. Must be the brake between the yellow and red screens. I was kinda freaked at first, since it seems almost all these stupid displays eventually burn up. You would think after all the years of having these displays they would either come up with something new, or fix the problems with this old design. Hmmm.

My display kicks *** and doesn't have any thing defective (knocks on wood)..However my heat section has one dash out, quite random but oh well..I just never turn the heat up that high so you can't tell.

I too thought the new audi's had the color'd ones (white, red, black)...
