Default Drivers side Low beam wont work

2000 A4 Quattro - Replaced Drivers side low beam bulb(tried 2 new ones) and reconnected all wires.. Doesnt shine. Checked fuse. OK. High beam and blinkers work fine. Any suggestions what I should check next?
Thanks

Did you just look at the fuse or measure it with an ohmmeter (or swap in a new one)? Sometimes a fuse will blow but it won't be apparent when you look at it. If you didn't measure/replace it with a new one, try that. My lights didn't come on once, and I pulled the fuses, scraped the blades, and put them back in, and they worked fine. Weird, but that was all I had to do.

It's got to be in the wiring then, somewhere between the fusebox and the headlight. Take a close, careful look at your wires, and make sure there are no breaks in them or cuts in the insulation. Also, check the connector that plugs into the bulb and see if any of the terminals are corroded. Couldn't hurt to shoot them with some electrical contact cleaner. Could be a relay as well though.

Then you have a wiring problem, probably a pinched wire. Check the voltage to the bulb and see if its at least 12V's.

I had a similar problem, if not the same, on my Grand Cherokee. Turned out to be the ground was loose and not connected properly. Check that. I ended up having to cut and then reconnect the wires.
