Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem or just a solution to my problem with my 05 A4 1.8T. My drivers side window won't roll up...it acts like it wants to roll up but seems like it's getting stuck on something in the process. It only comes up about 2 inches then just stays there. It will go down from there, just not up. Please help, it's going to rain soon...haha

 

i had something recently like that for my rear passenger window except when i tried to raise it it would stop and go back down. for me it ended up being one of the pullies for the cable had broken and the loose cable along with the bits of pulley were jamming the winder motor. just pull the door trim off and have a look

 

Ok, I appreciate it man. Any idea if I would have to buy the new pulley if it has broken how much that would cost. I'm @ work right now so I won't be able to take a look @ it until later this evening. Hey, and could you tell me how to get the panel off? I just got the car 3 days ago, so I'm not farmiliar with it yet. Thanks a lot..
