Drivetrain stabilizer......comments???
As some of you might already know, I am about to install a K04 kit on my A4. This is my third A4 now and want to make sure everything is done right the FIRST time after learning several mistakes and using tuner shops that F my car up more than they fix it. I asked earlier if a snub mount is necessary for the swap and got several answers that made no sense or seem like they dont know what they are talking about. I would just want to confirm with you guys(who know what they are talking about) if it is worth it or not. Keep in mind my car is a AWD. Anyways, my next question is if you guys recommend a drivetrain stabilizer??? I had a friend that put one on a s4 and had to replace his transmission after installing it. It drove great but somehow screwed it up holding all the trans movement. Here are example pics from AWE-Tuning, thanks for all the help!

I've never heard of anyone having to replace their tranny because of a dts. The only negative thing I've heard about it is the bushing. It tends to go out early. You can get an upgrade for it pretty cheap.
There is NO WAY A DTS did anything to the trans. It just is a mount & stabilizer. It's like saying the gas you just put in the tank gave you a flat tire.
Yes, they are worth it, and yes you can feel it. You engine & trans mounts will thank you.
The less engine/drivetrain movement you have, the faster the car goes, and more stable it feels.

it might have not been the reason why his tranny was shot, it just happened to go a couple days after he installed this, weird. Anyways thans for the input guys.
