as already mentioned Tyrolsport make a large SMIC, I'd prefer a front mount tho if going bigger turbo, doesn't have to deal with underbonnet temps. Godspeed are making blackFMICones at the moment which give more stealth look

 

I emailed to confirm the other day, no B6 version yet. They said if they had a stock one they can work one up.

No, I seriously doubt I'll go BT. I may eventually go KO4 if my turbo ever dies but I am looking to get a brand new 2009 A4 when they arrive!

 

^ simple install and will be good up to runing a gt28rs turbo.

 

So, it appears a DSMIC is respectable for up to stage 1+ and maybe KO4. Thanks, fahquad. CincyTT is yet another person saying the upgraded SMIC can support a big turbo. Moreover, it's a simpler install and probably cheaper. CincyTT, can you tell me more about how you know? Thanks.

 

Because people use the transverse version and have proven them to handle 300+fwhp.
