DTC P0411
You have a Secondary Air injection pump which floods hot air into the cat when you start the car (if the temp is not hot enough outside, or the cat is not already hot). This is meant to quickly heat the cat for emissions standards needs.
My guess is the pump is not working, or you have some problem with you catalytic converter, or a valve in the sec air injection line.
Check secondary air pump motor, combi valve, secondary air inlet valve, hoses and connecting pipes to/between components...

Ok, is the air injection pump driven by the motor or is it an electrical pump located in a remote inaccessible location? How would I go about having the Cat tested ?
Thanks

What year is your car.
Depending on that, the pump is normally in the front of the car, behind the bumper on the passenger side. It is an electric motor that should cut in shortly after starting the car (if the car was not hot). I dunno about testing the cat - never had to do that. I'm sure a muffler shop could do it.
