Dual exhaust anyone?
Has anyone here ever experimented with dual exhaust on the A4/S4? And I'm not talking about just gettin exhaust tips with two pipes commin out the same side. I talkin about something like this:

I love the way it looks, I just need to know if it feasible. Anyone?

Hmmm... that was helpful enough to let me know it's not going to be very easy to get dual exhaust, but I'm wondering if it would be any easier with a 2.7t (ie. the S4)? At this point I think I will put it on the backburner, but I'm definitely going to pursue the option.[sm=smiley15.gif]
I think the main factor is the location of the fuel tank and other parts. There really just isnt room. I've seen setups where the muffler has another pipe running out the side that goes to the right side tips. Thats not really a "dual exhaust" though. Search Audiworld.com for a little more help.
Ditto what jestnomen said. The underbelly anatomy doesn't allow for the splitting of the S4's dual to exit on both sides.
BTW: I looked into that set-up in the picture you posted a year ago - the effect is purely cosmetic. It isn't a true split dual down the underside of the car. It is in fact a splitter at the rear that routes the additional pipes to the opposite side.

it would be awesome if you could make it work, like a real dual exhaust.
But I guess we'll see what happens....
