Default dust and pollen filter replacement

I've searched the forum and can't find any info on how to replace this part. I don't want to spend the 100$ the dealer is trying to charge me for something that sounds minor. Advice is greatly appreciated. I'm also replacing my air filter.

I believe they are the same thing. I'm looking through my service booklet and one of the boxes says Replace dust and pollen filter. Will your cabin filter fit an A4'02 quattro? Do you know how to replace it?

this is for a B5 A4 but the location is the same on the B6 and it's actually easier.

thanks a lot that was soooeasy. I was able to do that in a matter of seconds. I can't believe someone would charge 100$ for something like.

They will charge you as much as they can because most people are either too lazy or ignorant to do what you decided to do - which was to come onto a forum and find out for yourself... saved yourself some bucks!
