I'm thinking of replacing the small hose on my DV (I think its the vacuum hose). Does anyone know where this goes to and what it does exactly? Easy to replace or no? I put in a new DV and now the hose is too short and I beleive its kinking and limiting my boost is that possible? thanks in advance...

 

someone must know something... all i need to know is where the other end of the smallest hose hooks onto, and would a kink in that hose limit my boost and possibly put me in limp?

 

ok so either no one knows what that hose goes/does or this question is so stupid no one wants to waste time answering it....

I'm guessing in this case it's the latter...

I guess I'll continue to search for a solid answer, but in the meantime if anyone knows anything please help... my boost is WEAK!

 

The hose that goes on top of the DV which you are describing shouldnt be any shorter just because you put in a new DV. Unless you relocated the DV... The other end of that hose goes over the side of the timing belt cover on the front of the engine and down under the intake i beleive. But if the hose is too short now, its becuase its caught on something, just because you replaced your DV, it doesnt make that hose shorter! The 710N is the same size at the one you replaced.

So... Blue lower neons huh?? As in under the car neons??? That sounds phat.

 

haha no not under the car I would put a huge wing spoiler on the back before I did that. just blue low beam xenons, I have blue and yellow fogs that I switch in and out depending on my mood...

 

but do you know if it is kinked, that could be why my boost is non-exxistent?
