DV/BOV sound
This may sound dumb but i want the sound of a bov. But i know that the dv has to stay looped.
Is there any safe way to get the sound and still have the car running fine?
Someone said to put a Y fitting where the DV blows off and have the loop vac line conected to one side of the Y and let the other "blow off".
Help me get the BOV sound. thanks guys

I have a Forge 007 and a K&N cone filter fitted over the MAF and my DV is sooooo freakin loud! This is also at about 17 psi. Oh, I also have holes drilled in my fender lining from when I had the airbox mod. I always find myself making the pshhh sound whenever there are people around, and lots of people whip their heads around just to see the awesome turbo car whipping by!

The splitter is what you want. It makes a sound as if you shook up a 2 liter of soda and opened it. Its not TOO loud. Mine is in 100% recirc mode. The noise annoyed me after a while. Its still a great valve though. Being able to adjust the spring tension without swapping springs/washers is the main benefit imo.
go to forge's website and order there splitter valve. for pics look at teh sticky i made on the top of the page called official splitter review. there you will find your answere to the questions you ask
