We all thank you for coming on here and asking a valid question instead of "What BOV should I get?" LOL
It actually gives us something to do.

Yeah it is a little expensive for just the sound. I personaly would not buy it but thats me.

Oh and I am hooked to! I have logged almost 1000 posts now in a matter of a month. I have it on full time at work and just refresh the page every 5 min. LOL

yeah, do a search and find my thread about my intake set-up, probably just as good, and half the price

you will also have to take your skid plate off to get to the dv

what year and model of a4 do you have?

^could you give me specifics on both filter and airpump filter you bought? like maybe part #, size...basically the stuff I need to know to go find this stuff. Also how was the installation of this? all fairly easy, or hard... i'd imagine basically just pretty easy...?

..... sitting here at work wondering. NO I am not going or thinking about getting one or wanting one... this is more just to increase my personal knowledge...so like if someone were to ask me after I got a dv, I could tell them why bovs make me feel like [:-][&o][:@][:'(]. Whats the main reason why audi's shouldn't/can't have bov's? I remember 4 years ago when I first got my car I wanted one for the sound, but a friend of mine who knew a little something about cars slapped me as nicely as he could. I think I remember him saying that it would cost to much to replace the turbo, and pipes than the bov would be worth, or something like that.... reasons? explination please?

i just went to auto zone and got their filter(s)

as for part #'s, just walk in and get what is on the shelf, the airpump filter i had to mount it to some rubber hose and shove that in the airpump hose, cause the filter was too small, and the airpupm hose is solid and i couldn't get it to work any other way

i have an 01 a4 1.8tqms

here you gowith some pix:

I love those pics^
Makes the idea of having an intake much more appealing and functionalwith that quality heat shield.
