to start, i have a COMPLETELY STOCK b6 and whever i get to about 3k+ rpm and let off, i hear a faint "bov" sound. I do know that im not suppose to hear anythign at all with a stock set up; so my question is, is ther anything wrong? and could i take it in to get checkd by the dealer?

the sound is not a woosh (commonly for dv)... its more high pitch (yet very faint) and definitely sounds like its venting out, rather than back to intake.

i think you should be fine, mine made a sound as you describe as well... if anything check for leaks and in the worst case your seals might be worn out on the dv... just pick up the 710n for like $35

its fine thats just what the dv does, but if your really worried about it replace the dv and check for cracked hoses
