Default dv setup woes

ok so im very new to audi's and i can't seem to identify the stock dv on my b6, i have seen pics of where they are on other cars but have not seen any real pix of them on a b6. so i took my pictures and am putting them up here so that you guys the experts can take them and mark it for me if it is hidden in the pix then tell me and ill replace them again. I was going to ask you guys where you spliced into for the boost gauge but i think i found a good place to tee. and was going to ask you guys where the boost controller was but found that too, dont you guys think those are some big honking vacum lines on the stock boost controller?anyways may be i was looking at the wrong thing but i do need know where the dv valve it and also how the heck do i remove the airfilter to replace it its seems to be stuck i only saw two screws on the uper part of the airbox then the rest was covering the box IE hoses and a heat shield? oh yeah one more thing for the diode mod is it right here on top of my airbox or is it down low like on cincys posts?

It is underneath the engine. You have to take off the bellypan and you will see it right there . . .

Here is the DV circled in red. You don't need to remove all that stuff to get to it, it's just a pic to show you the location. Like mentioned previously, just remove the belly pan and you can access it from underneath the car (it's just behind the fan rack).
