Default DV Vac Line Removal

HOLY **** WTF holds this damn line on? I cant for the life of me get that little freakin one time clamp off the end up under the manifold. Anyone have some magical solutions? I've spent the last 1hr trying to get this thing off as that whole line is just completely rotten all through it and I need to replace it. So if someone has an idea on getting that clamp off I'm listening.

Wow, I wish I could do that but I have about 1/8" of room to work under the manifold and I can't get anything in between each of the intake runners as the orange dipstick is in the way.

Just pull, its not that hard. Pull off the lineand then remove the clamp. You dont need it since it secures tightly by itself.

Think so? I thought of that but figured that the plastic barb that the line is on will have a little bit of a riser on the end that the clamp still won't pass over.

it has the lip, but it will come off pretty easy. I have done it this way on a few cars and in several places.

So I got thinking about this. When I pull off the line there will still be a little bit of rubber line under the clamp. How can I get that out so the clamp gets free?

Another way I was thinking would be to remove the orange dipstick tube. Can I just pull that whole assembly out and remove the little bracket from the top and then just go in from there?

All you have to do is pull. The line WITH the clamp will come off. Your overthinking it now.

But this line is completely rotted and is just fraying at any tugging, plus I did just try to pull on it and it doesn't come off.

How can I over think the German engineering?? They make everything 5x as hard as needed. lol
