Dynamic headlight range control defective
Got a 2004 A4 1.8.. light for the Dynamic headlight range control is on, anyone ever experience this? It says in the book to take it to the dealership and doesn't specify any troubleshooting tips. I already booked an appointment with Audi since the car is still under warranty. But I would like to try to do it myself it it's an easy fix (ie. fuse, etc.) instead of wasting a day at the dealer. If anyone's ever experience this, what was the problem? Is there a fuse for this? Or is is it something major where the whole headlight will need to be replaced? Anything I can check on my own?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
I had the light too. When I took it to the dealer for a key programming, they cleared it for free. Now they adjust like they should. You can see it when you start the car. Pretty sure you'd need VAG to do it yourself.
The lights don't auto adjust, so I'm guessing there's an actual problem with the headlights. Thought it might be a blown fuse or some other easy DIY fix. I'm taking the car in on Tuesday so they can fix it.
I honestly don't think it's your lights. It's not like you're going to need to replace them. I wouldn't think so anyways. Just like we said above, it should just be a reset and all will be fixed.
