Does anyone know where I can find how to take the center console apart so that I can access the cable to adjust the e-brake? From viewing under the car, it looks like there's too much slack in it. I've searched this forum, but cannot find any instructions on how to adjust the parking brake.

I got to download it and saved it - THANKS!!! Would you happen to have the instructions to remove the rear of the center console also or is it intuitive enough? This is a new car for me so I haven't had the chance to get the service manual yet. Speaking of which, which one should I get? The dealer's or Bentley or other? Thanks again!

It's a B5 - 2001. It's actually my fiancee's. So it's "newly acquired" into the car family. What's mine is mine, and what's hers is mine, correct?

 

in General Tech there is a write up called center console removal by brrman and it tell u how to do it. I used that write up when i did mine a few weeks ago.
